June 13 – June 15

Where: Sofienbergparken in Grünerløkka

Piknik i Parken (PiP) is a popular music festival in Oslo that combines live music experiences with a relaxed picnic atmosphere. The festival aims to offer a unique and intimate concert experience in beautiful, natural surroundings. Among this year’s headliners you’ll find: Stormzy, Massive Attack, Tom Odell and the Norwegian band Highasakite.

June 19 – June 22

Where: Grefsenkollen

OverOslo is a music festival held at Grefsenkollen, a place with spectacular views overlooking Oslo city. The festival attracts both national and international artists across various music genres, including pop, rock, and electronic music. Visitors can enjoy concerts in an outdoor setting surrounded by Oslo’s scenic beauty. Among this year’s artists you’ll find: Billy Ocean, Chaka Khan, Kaizers Orchestra, Dagny and many more.

Ekebergsletta 

Tons of Rock is a rock and metal festival held at Ekebergsletta in Oslo. The festival attracts a wide range of rock and metal artists from both Norway and internationally. It is known for offering powerful and energetic live performances over several days. In this year’s lineup you’ll find: Metallica, Judas Priest, Tool, Europe, Uriah Heep, Greta Van Heep and many more.

Tøyenparken

Øyafestivalen is one of Norway’s largest music festivals.It attracts a wide range of national and international artists from various music genres including rock, pop, indie, electronic music, and more. The festival is known for their focus on sustainability, offering a unique experience where music, food, and art come together in an urban park setting. This year you can see artists such as: Queens of the Stoneage, Astrid S, Jessie Ware, Veronica Maggio, Slowdive and many more.

June 8 – June 9 and August 24 – August 25

Where: In June: Aker brygge. In August: Grünerløkka

Oslo Matfestival is a festival that celebrates local ingredients, culinary culture, and gastronomic experiences from both Norway and internationally. It offers a wide range of food stalls, restaurants, and food producers presenting everything from traditional dishes to innovative culinary approaches. Experience cooking demonstrations, tastings, and activities for visitors of all ages.

July 12 – July 14

Where: Vulkan

Gladmat is a food and cultural festival that combines culinary experiences with cultural elements and activities. Visitors can enjoy a diverse selection of food stalls and vendors offering everything from local specialties to international dishes. There is also entertainment, music, and other cultural activities that make Gladmat på Vulkan a popular event for food enthusiasts and families looking to explore Oslo’s culinary diversity.

June 21 – June 29

Oslo Pride is an annual festival and parade celebrating diversity and gender identity in Oslo. The festival includes cultural events, debates, concerts, art exhibitions, and other activities that focus on LGBTQ+ rights and culture. The highlight is the colorful and inclusive parade through the streets of Oslo. Oslo Pride plays a crucial role in promoting acceptance and equality for all genders and sexual orientations.

Throughout the summer
